Business and HR Consultancy


We have worked with a range of clients from Manufacturing to Nursing Homes, Logistics to Law, Defence to Doctors and Aviation to Removals to support them in a range of business and HR issues.

Work we have done has included strategic planning, business planning, sales and sales management, Organisational design and job specification, performance management and employment terms and condition.

Structured Manager Development


We are working at various levels designing and delivering manager development.

Example programmes :- Senior Managers - A combination of designing competences, a series of structured workshops, Director involvement, at work project activity and an external speaker from a Plc customer.

Other Managers and Team Leaders - Using a Competence model to design core events with at work activity leading to a part 'NVQ' for a Facilities Management organisation.

In another client a series of workshops for all managers designed to achieve an attitudinal shift in the way managers' works with their people.

In another a planned workshop programme with concurrent delivery of a strategic project.

Performance Management


The development, design and implementation of a performance management system to measure, plan and review performance in an open way supporting and requiring self responsibility. Dynamic and participative workshops designed to challenge managers to take responsibility for the high performance of their people.

Manager competences


We have a broad based experience in the design of manager competence models. This activity uses a range of approaches :-

*Competences developed by the organisation and then benchmarked against 'industry' standards
* An 'activities' based model linked to IiP/NVQs
*A model based on an interpretation of the culture/requirements of the organisation and developed with the individuals involved.

'Away Days'


A range of planning and team development days, e.g. to plan for the future, to develop processes or develop the team.

Training and Development programme design and management

We have been commissioned to plan, design, market, manage and evaluate Development programmes for smaller organisations as well as large Plc clients covering around 5000 staff.
